Wendy seems like a character that would be the least afraid of pirates.
Since your Abigail can grind them up to a pulp while you focus on the captain.
Or just make Wonkey a pernament character after you get cursed for first time you can select to play as him from the character menu.
And give him ability to throw poop and build monkey huts.
Cause honestly IMO the Wonkey looks better than Wilbur but is missing some of Wilbur's abilities.
