Beefalo not leaving grooming station

I hitched my beefalo, dressed him up but then he just stays there and I can't ride it

Haven't used the grooming station in a while but i vaguely recall that you need to unhitch the Beef after you done fancying it up or else it will be just stuck there at the station.

I hover onto my beefalo and it just says examine

try destroying the station with a sledgehammer. it might force the freedom onto it. this is a barbaric solution but it's the simplest.

There's no need to smash it up like a angry caveman :P
