As a last resort, you could spawn it it by typing c_spawn('krampus_sack') into the console.
Using a game's features to play it- isn't cheating- basically recording the game with spawn codes, not only ruins the experience, but invalidates its purpose. A challenge without effort, is a meaningless thing, I don't use cheatcodes because it makes games into nothing, and once you use them, you can never go back to the experience and feel rewarded from effort ever again.
This is an effortful way of enjoying the game.
An effortless way, would sap any joy or purpose from the experience all together.
That's the difference between an exploitation in a game and a cheat.
Cheats erase effort, exploits allow one to use the game against itself.
If you use a code to play, its like playing a game of chance, when you know every outcome, that's pointless, and gives you no reward for having won. Godmode or cheats, have ruined-- uncorrectbly, every game I've ever used them in, such that I could never play the game again and enjoy it-- it was just--- pointless to struggle for something i could give myself with the press of a button at any moment.
I'll never spoil any game in no such stupid manner, ever again.
If you say so, I'll believe you.
Incredibly unlucky--- huh?
Seems accurate. lol.
I suppose I'll try the Klaus method then...
Thank you.
A developer feature, equivalent to coding the game, and if it was ever intended for players, its more of Godmode then anything.
Please, interpret what others have already written-- so they don't have to write it twice.
Took you nearly 3 weeks to come up with that? I'm charmed such a minor thing needed a second reply from you, especially in a thread you've invested nothing into. You are making your intellectual quality more evident each time you speak. I'm not impressed.
Don't bump old threads for...something this petty, if you don't mind. Peace, if you can find it.
they even compared using hostile flares with using God mode. it was the most... I've never had a bigger headache than ever before trying to see the correlation between the two.
The first set of comments I made to back on July 11th, was my argument as to why its not cheating, its a feature of the game, provided for any one to use, actively, openly, and with any intention anyone pleases. You are claiming the save and load features, are cheats. That's-- another beautiful reflection of you. I have no desire to argue the same point twice, to someone who did nothing but write "roll back is for greifers" which isn't true-- its a feature you can use for any reason. If you wanted the permadeath version of the game- the original Don't Starve provides it. This game, intentionally allows people to play with, or without permadeath- as a feature. Your only other comment is "the console is a game feature" and its not, its a debugging feature, like hacking the game, the devs use to playtest it. So-- I've already made all my arguments to you, you've replied with nonsense drivel, and now-- you deserve nothing but insults. Congrats. If you had the capacity this whole time to make a discussion-- you could have-- but you didn't. You won't earn one now.
I'll gladly take tools guys-kun's advice. Bye forever Clown.
I'm pretty sure Clown is just a troll, wasting their life online...
Cause-- they claimed this time that the console and the roll back features were cheating, but if, with you, they claimed that the console was "playing the game"--- then they are just making up contrarian opinions for the hope of starting controversy, and don't harbor any value or beliefs of their own. Which is-- perfect enough reason for me to just--block without regrets. Thanks for the heads up.
