Lure plants are just all round neat to have, they oneshot small mobs and even some raidboss summons, provide leafy meat for free, are dumpsters, harvest ♥♥♥♥ for you, and you can use them to effectively increase the range of flingos.
For an actual play of Wormwood I could see comboing monkey tail and bee friend for Honey Poultice all year around but the points don't seem to add up to be worth it.
Lureplants face a similar problem. They are great. You can set up tons of neat farms and base stuff. You can use them to fight for you and form safe rooms. It just costs too much to get there compared to everything you have to give up on the other trees.
to his lunar cultivator maybe make carrats pick crops for you and if they are giant they can munch it and collect them instead of having to use a hammer, just that would make it an instant pick for me, also make saladmanders stick to the target instead of trying to come to be near me, remove lighbugs and replace it with maybe a buff to saladmanders when in full bloom, lets be honest if you got to defeat the CC light source is not an issue anymore
and lastly the bloom branch has too much increase speed a little now increase it a little more now stay in bloom longer, all tree should just be 2 skills max, make him have a skill that when you use a compost wrap it resets the bloom timer something actually impactfull
You use twigs and make saplings to get more twigs.
You use world berries to make not world berries and harvest to make world berries.
You use leafy meat and make lureplants to get more leafy meat.
Besides early lureplants there is no value.
IMO the crafting recipes are boring compared to alternative skills that could be offered.
They could have let him tame saladmanders with Fire Nettle Fronds.
They could have let him tame carrats with tillweeds.
They could have let him ride grass gators like beefalo.
They could have added special properties to compost wrap such as fertilizing grass for geckos or allowing it to be a substitute for tree jam.
They could have buffed any fertilizers used by wormwood for crops or healing.
monkey-tails give reeds, which is insanely good (honey poultice, night armor, wickerbottom books, other papyrus crafts)
lureplants are useful for auto-farms
berries are good for crock pot filler, food storage, rot production, bait, and more
That being said, it's something I've always wanted in the game. Though I'm disappointed that a regular berry bush is blocked up by requiring juicy berries. Hopefully this is fixed sooner, rather than later.
