So if you don't care about cosmetics, in short: Just buy DST. Ignore DS the original and all the DLC.
don't starve (which is a separate game and doesn't have to be bought to play don't starve together and vice versa) is a game with 2 DLC's (and another coming around the end of the year)
Don't Starve Together to play with people, and earn customize options.
Edit: DST is also soloed quite often. It's harder, but there are also mods which can tweak health if you don't like the challenge. If you really don't care about cosmetics or playing with others though, then get the original.
I can't say on Oxygen as I haven't played it, but it looks good.
