How to find suspicious marble

is there any specifics to where they can/can't spawn?

I have found 2 of the 3 so far, I think I found the last one (the rooks nose) before while exploring, but they have no map icons so I don't know where they are, I was forced to reexplore most of the map, and so far have no results. Is there any easy way to find them?

You could use teleport commands to teleport to them.

I finally found it, the game thought it would be funny to put two things in the same biome so I wouldn't look there. Now I have to deal with the shadow pieces... solo...
