Best dst fighting classes?
I have tons of hours with it. Yet i rarely find wolfgang useful. More like pain in the bat.

Wigfrid is nice all around for her damage and gear. Also she is a tank

WIlson and wx are stable and thats good.
Your opinions?

Wendy is good but first off on a PVP server your gonna have to hide before u get abagail then u release her and she will be a fighting machine.

Wigfrid and wicker bottom are the best starters but Wolfgang is better when geared up. Webber has good late game spiders and Wx17 is decent.

Wolfgang and Wigfrid, lol why in the world wolfgang wouldn't be useful? He can solo Deerclops very easly and even tank him with a full belly and marble suit. Wolf is the best combat class in the game.

Wx isn't very good in DST since you need many gears, and most of the times, there aren't enough clockworks or gears for all the stuff and for you (unless you have a cave in the server).

I like to joke that instead of Wendy as a character, we have Abigail, since she does most of the damage, Abigail is great for killing lots of enemys that can be stunlocked, like spiders and bees, you should try kill the warriors, since she can't stunlock them. Beware with giants or big hordes of hounds/worms, those can kill Abigail very easly.

Wes, nope

Webber can be quite good with spiders + spider warriors, but his sanity is very low, so beware.

Woodie is a good one for having a homeless playstyle, you can easly survive winter without a base, good sanity increase.

Wilson have no real ups and downs, so it will depend on your skill.

Wicker and Max are more like support classes, they aren't very good at combat, because Wickers sanity and Max low hp.

But if you are good with combat in general, you can do it with any character, even Wes.

I feel that webber is better for a homeless playstyle, since if you find a natrual spider nest and place yours down, just cause spider wars between the nests for free glands, meat, and web

I disagree, the low sanity would make a pain, if you don't manage to get mushrooms always

spiders dont make you lose sainty i think, i could be wrong, if spiders didnt make you lost sainty, all you would really have to deal with is the daily sainty drain that happens to everyone

I'm not talking about sanity drain from spiders, I'm talking about sanity drain in an overall, like the daily drain, and other stuff. Also, webber don't have a permanent tool, so he wouldn't survive in winter by this playstyle. With woodie, it's very easy to gather the 2 logs you need for your fire+1 for your meter.

never find sanity too big a problem. lots of ways to gain sanity back easily, i find only when im going through a ton of wormholes or digging up graves do i really need a sanity increase

Sanity is quite easy to earn, but not so much when you don't have a base, that's what we are talking about here, with a base, sanity will rarely be a problem.
