Workaround/fix for the app not opening under macOS Ventura 13.0

I received the following error message when trying to start the game in Steam after upgrading to macOS Ventura 13.0: '“dontstarve_steam” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin.'

What worked for me was allowing access to dontstarve_steam in System Settings (previously System Preferences) > Privacy & Security.

In Privacy & Security scroll down to the Security section and you should see a message saying '"dontstarve steam" was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer'. Just click on Open Anyway, enter the password, and you should have the option to click Open in the next dialogue window with the familiar message about “dontstarve_steam” being damaged...

After this, the game seems to be working as expected. It looks like the problem is that macOS thinks the app is from an unidentified developer.
