Does Don't starve together now have an ending?

I was watchign a youtuber and he mentioned that they made allot of updates to the game. Is there some sort of final goal if you wish to "beat" it with a friend?

Nope. I guess you could count beating the ruins or the Dragonfly as beating the game but that's up to you to decide.

There is adventure mode which has kinda of an ending.

There is no end goal in DST. It's kinda the whole point of Don't Starve games, you make your own goals and achieve them. Don't Starve has Adventure Mode but even then, it just changes your character to whoever was on the throne and doesnt actually end the game.

the game ends when you starve to death. or get eaten/squished/mauled by something. Just l ike D&D

Currently there's no end goal as the others said.

However Klei is currently working on "A New Reign" what is basicly a big expansion for DST (and free mind you). Currently we only got a handfull of new features (some new ones should drop soonish on the betabranch as well) and maybe it will include some sort of proper endgame (as the goal of New Reign is endgame content) so who knows what the next 3-4 months will bring till "New Reign" is properly finished.
