Why was this necessary, the old Ui was perfectly fine, hell, even prettier too
Wrong you can swap the quick craft skins on the fly by scrolling with mouse wheel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5PASO6NFOw
You don't need to pin multipile instances of same item but with different skins.
Manually having to populate the slots is just a more micro intensive way of ending up exactly where the old UI was, without any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Like i said you only need to set up quick slots ONCE and never again unless you want to change them up again.
Also fully personalizable quick craft tabs and search bar > Old non customizable and scrolling nightmare of a crafting menu.
Also, only having to do it once is not a damn solution when you have hundreds of bloody items! Sure, i could assign the common ones to slots, but i still have to fiddle with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu any time i want something i dont make often. So my choice is either spend an eternity assigning them to slots, and ending up with a worse version of the old UI, or i have to fiddle for every single minor item we rarely use.
You people have no sense of UI design. Unnecessary fiddling is BAD
No problem :)
Yea seriously it's so easy to find what you want to craft.
The new UI is terrible design ....
