Can bees produce honey from evil flowers?

I tried googling for this but I can't find any information anywhere about it. If I remove all my normal flowers and leave only evil flowers, will my bees still produce honey for the bee box?

Why do you want evil flowers though? If you go pick up stuff there your sanity will drop. Each evil flower got tiny insanity aura!

And if u want to go insane its much faster with glommer goop or raw green mushrooms anyway. And if u want nightmare fuel farming just make purple amuletts.

I have lots of homeless bees on my base that spreads out the flowers everywhere. I figure it would be better if those were evil flowers instead. Since I have a Bee Queen Crown as well. So it would help with my sanity, and at the same time I can pick evil flowers whenever I lose my sword.

I'm not that good at combat yet so I can't make use of the amulet right now, but that is indeed the right path to follow.

If you love insanity with bee crown don't use evil flowers my man. Best way of "sanity" aura is get many treeguards or use nightlight with NF. Both work formidable with bee crown.
Evil flowers are not efficient. Their aura is too small and too slow. I mean heck you can even use a peaceful bearger or swamp for your sanity needs with Bee crowns :p

Anyway good luck at bee crowning either way ^_^
