Game locked to 60 FPS ignoring the settings

I managed to set 144 FPS in settings by first setting display mode to windowed and then setting back to full-screen with 144 fps.
Setting is now saved but the game ignores it and still run at 60fps max.

Are there any plans for the game to support higher refresh rate?

have u checked if it has been set to have a max fps rate
because that's what may be causing it

This game cannot run past 60 fps.
Engine thing from what i heard.

Yea it's a bit weird.

It's like Vsync option on Minecraft Java ..

Why it's there as an option if it doesn't work properly and never will.

the numbers in the game settings are determined automatically, but due to animations, the game cannot give more than 60 frames, only less

If it was "due to animations" the cap would be 30.

Ah this animation creatures. there are others like opening a menu or picking up items. one word above 60 is impossible
