-Survival: When you die you become a ghost.
-Endless: When you die you become a ghost, and can revive endless times at the portal.
-Wilderness: When you die you go to the character select screen.
Yeah but without these it was Permadeath, I don't mind crafting things to prevent it because thats a reward of gameplay. I'm talking about how if you die in DST you become a ghost and it's built-in. It just happens. You don't have to farm for it or do any kind of pre-requisites.
So in Survival is there no way to revive as a ghost then? Is that it, done? I play Solo so I have no allies. Feels a little forced to have to manually back out instead of getting Vanilla's Days Survived screen.
If you made a life giving amulet ahead of time (prestihatinator, gold, and a red gem required), you can haunt it to revive...as long as you didn't store it in your backpack, that is.
If you attuned to a meat effigy beforehand, you'll auto revive at that.
Sadly, you can't haunt a telltale heart to revive.
And then you die from some sh*t and cry about it
