Can't host Gorge

My friend (or I if he hosts) are not able to connect to each others game. Although are able to see Game Info through Steam (right click on friend in Steam Friends and Game Info).

When trying to join, DST window pops up:
"Connecting
..."

This stays for a while, when eventually:
"Server Not Responding
The server is not responding. Please try again."

Any ideas?

P.S.
We don't want to join a random guy and play all 3, we wanna play alone(2) in private match.

I dont think joining through steam works, if anything have you or your mate create a password-protected server, and join like that

Trying to connect through steam will try and connect as a normal DST multiplayer game. This event is special though, and so it does not work.
You need to both choose 'Enter the Gorge' on the main menu (not the normal multiplayer), then one person creates the game there and the other joins it. Name the game something something they can search for and put a password on it, and you should be good to go.

Cant get this to work with my friends either. Even when they join through the in game server browser they still cant connect. "Server not responding". Also nobody is joining my open game anyways with no password.

Same here, but i can join random costum servers (although if i create one my friends can't join, neither can i join theirs)

We are having the same problem. We were kicked in the middle of a round, and can't start again.

We already had this problem before today's update, but after a few tries we managed to connect.
After the update it's impossible to join.

this is happening to me too, but even if I join a server through the browser it doesn't respond!

Seemingly the game servers are crashing since this last update. Can't even play solo without it crashing a few minutes in.

Update: Another small patch was released. Probably fixed this issue.

Newest update doesn't seem to have fixed this at all. We've tried everything we can think of and simply can't join each other's games.

Our only work around... quick join a game that had only one person, then ask person to leave so all three of us could play.

You are not the only one, I had a few friends I was going to play with today...worked just fine yesterday. This patch broke something.
