Portable Crockpot bugged

I cannot put anything into the portable crockpot after I place it, any item I try to put in simply makes a noise similar to picking things up and returns to my inventory. I have tried berries, a green cap monster meat and his starting veggies.

Edit: also yes I tryed disabling all of my mods but that failed to fix the problem

Definetly not my controls normal crockpots on my 400+ day world work just fine.

Mods? Sometime non related mods can cause trouble try disable mods and play the game

already tryed disabling all mods and even generating a new world after having them disabled

I'm having the same problem, which means I died & I'm now stuck with this broken character. How is this not fixed yet? :-(

to you place the pot and not just drop it to the ground? to you se that it looks like it that there are sticks under the pot?

KB+M, had not tryied walry in several updates, just started a new world to try again and seems to be working fine for me now. No idea what changed, wish I could be more helpful.

left mouse drop it on the ground rigth mouse place it and use it aas a pot

Yep, it was the "drop" versus "place" issue. It's really not clear in the game, but I do feel like an idiot.
