Crossed platform multiplayer advice.

Hi,

Does anybody know if I need to buy two accounts to play multiplayer with my son on PC and Ipad?.

You cannot play Don't Starve Together on cross platform between PC and any Console, which includes the ipad due to things like Mods being used, and events and game builds for each platform. It's been discussed many times on the Klei forums and you'd either have to buy on both ipad/iphone, or both PC/mac/Linux, and vice versa. The only thing that's close to cross play would be PC/Mac/Linux.

Most of the time, Steam labels and tags for games and their genre can be misleading, so I don't pay attention to them, but I hope you got to figure out a way to play with your family.

This game doesn't have true crossplay which is silly. They should remove that or make the game actually crossplay with consoles.

Agreed. Crossplay isnt for pc operating systems but pc to console and or mobile.

Klei Actually make The game Multi Platform In Mind Due the Limitation and Restriction on the Console They Buried it and its hard for them to dig it back
