Sandstorm Goggles
I went to the desert during summer and was hit with a sandstorm. I went to wiki to see how to build goggles for the sandstorm and find it in the "dress" tab. I know I dont have the "rare" blue print for it yet but I dont even see the goggles as a LOCKED item under the dress tab. It makes me think that this is one of many items that I dont have access to because I'm not part of the beta. It's really confusing. For instance, they show driftwood in my game, but when I google how to get it, wiki explains that you need all this stuff (which will come from "return of them"). I dont have "return of them", I dont see how to sign up for it. And if I dont have "return of them", how come I'm seeing the driftwood in my game? I'm confused. Can someone help break this down for me?

PS I think I might have to be at the oasis and go fishing for the rare blue print? if so, once i get the blue print, will the goggles show up in my dress tab?

Looks like you answered your own question, but for confirmation's sake, that's what you need to do.
There's "Fashion Goggles", and there's "Desert Goggles".
Fashion Goggles are needed for Desert Goggles crafting.
Desert Goggles are what help with the sandstorm.
Both blueprints can be found from fishing at the Oasis.

This. You find the blueprint by fishing there, and this is the only way to get it.
Items from rare blueprints cannot be prototyped at stations and so don't even appear before learning them.
Side note: the Return of Them is a series of updates, we had 3 so long and there are more coming. It is currently on the live branch, you don't need to opt in any beta, not even in the future, to get all the content. The beta serves only to help Klei test the new stuff before putting them in the game.

If I'm on the latest version then, how come I dont see any of the new biomes? Is it because i need to start a new game?
