Oasis base
How do you deal w the hounds at the oasis if you decide to base there. Thanks!

tooth traps, or bring a beefalo closer to the oasis, it'll start a new herd and you can run hounds over to them. (I've accidentely made one in the oasis before)

Best way is park several treeguards in front of the hound mould forts. Treeguards make short work of any dangers. Good luck :3

I think they meant the periodic hound waves. Hounds mounds don't spawn in the Oasis desert.

My strategy still applies. Any parking lot with treeguards even in oasis are a save heaven from dogs. Any sort of dogs doesn't matter ....

They are not because its a big waste of time to craft a tooth drap field of 400+.
With my strategy it's much more efficient. 1 Treeguard is effectivelly worth like 200 tooth traps at least. And it's much easer to farm or "craft" army of 3 treeguards to be save space :p

Yeah but living logs are precious imo. Killing treeguards are better since you can get the living logs sooner

You could also just run away during the hound attack. When you hear them coming, start heading through the sandstorm so you can get to another biome to deal with them however you'd like with a lot more room.
