Need help with crafting new critter skins (problem solved)
So I've bought Hallowed Nights chest and got new Glomglom skin
but I can only craft basic critters out of the rock den although it showed that I
already have these new skins.

Do I need to activate before I can craft it?

I also noticed that the basic name is in blue color while these new skins are red.

ADDED CONTENT: (I don't really understand how these posts really work and I don't want to mess them up so I will just edited the answer here.)

So I just regenerated the world and start it without mods. And I can adopt them! (as suggested by DjHellHound)

And about the different colors, LaChouette pointed out that it's because the red is for elegant items while blue is for default ones.

Pet critter skins work as any other skins, you select skin you want with arrow and just craft it.

Make sure to check your belongings to make sure you have the skins you need and that's all.

I've tried that. But, it only gave me the basic skins (as I've uploaded the screenshots
in the link that their names are labeled in red color instead of blue).
And there are correct marks ticked in my belongings for both of them.
So, I really don't know what happened.

So your problem is that when you want to adopt a new critter, even when you choose the skin you want on the pet,it still makes pet have only the default skin?

Ya sure you chose the skin you want on the pet and then procced to adopt it?

Joseph I think your issue is that are you using the "better pet" mod as that somehow breaks skins for the critters though no clue if you are using said mod

@Avenamen you're right about my problem. And I am sure that I chose to adopt pet with new skin.

@DjHellHound I've tried both in mod (my pet) and game without any mod at all. But, my problem still cannot be solved.

@Joseph I suggest starting a new world without any critter mods spawn in a critter den and spawn in the items required to summon said critter and see if it works

I have to regenerate new world without mod so I can adopt it.
(Its name is still in red color though, but I got no problem with that.)

The name is in red color because they're red rarity (elegant) items. If you look at other items with different skins, their names will have a different color too.

you can leave it.
you can also mark the post with answer so the people who later find this thread get huge message "this thread was answered by this post: POST THERE"


also players can remove threads only if there is 7 or less posts. (you can remove your own posts to decrease their amount if thread is over 7 and you want to remove)
if there is more than 7 then only mods on forum can delete threads

When you hover on player's post then in right top corner of the post you will see 3 buttons:
report, quote him, mark as answer
press the third one (mark as answer) on the post that helped you
