I am guessing that you already know hounds and deerclops. So i am not going to mention those
If you hear sounds and your character says something that may indicates a giant in autumn. Its the bearger.
If the ground beneath you is showing particles and your character indicates an earthquake (i forgot if there are sounds of not, since i mostly play without sounds on), antlion is mad and you should run from your base.
If you are in the caves/ruins and there are sounds of loud shaking rock noise, its an earthquake. Try to not get hit by the stones that fall from the ceiling because it deals quite the damage.
If you are in the caves/ruins and you hear sounds that gradually gets louder, its a depth worm attack, similar to hounds on the surface.
If you are in the ruins and you hear a sound that sounded odd, (I seriously dont know how to describe the sound but it is pretty loud and only lasts for 4 seconds) its the nightmare phase starting. Check the wiki to see more info on nightmare phase (Since its a long one)
...and i think thats about it
