Connection issue

I tether my phone using pdanet for internet. When I try to go online with DST it forced my pdanet to disconnect. Has anyone else experienced this? or have a suggestion. DST is the only program that does this.

SAME!!! Sat down to play with a friend after work and the same damn thing is happening to my PDAnet connection (via ATT).

Every other online game works, and works surprisingly well, ping wise, but not Don't Starve.

I'd like to know what's behind this, a prevention in place on ATT's end, something to do with Don't starve?

I also use PDANet to tether (MetroPCS). Every other game works, but ever since the Christmas update of 2018, my connection will endlessly reconnect, ONLY with DST. Any fixes?

Same here, only DST.

I also use PDANet, suprisingly through MetroPCS as well, and this issue just popped up. Game ran fine a year or so ago when I last played but now it won't work only via pdanet. I get constant disconnect/reconnect messages from pdanet. Looks like this is the only game I'm forced to run over my regular hotspot.

yeah it still doesn't work for me, so I gave up, rooted my phone, and switched to an app called RouterNet. it works so much better and I have no issues with DST or any game anymore

Oh really? I finally rooted my new phone a couple weeks ago but didn't want to go purchasing new tethering apps just to find out they didn't work. Figured pdanet/foxfi have been good to me for years so why change lol. I'm gonna have to check that out now.

yeah it works nicely for me, hides data usage properly and the hotspot works great. I had to change my APN settings a little bit but that's all it took, aside from rooting
