I'm a Wilson main who's wondering if any other Wilson mains exist.

If there are any I sure haven't seen you. If you exist I'd like to know why you main Wilson and how you started maining Wilson in the first place because I feel that I have an unpopular opinion when it comes to playing as Wilson.

Me personally I main Wilson because I don't like to have to rely on some gimmick to do well (Except Wilson's beard because Meat effigies but that's minor unlike some of the other character attributes) . Also I have a problem playing with almost every other character:

Willow is resistant to fire damage which isn't really useful in most situations unless you're the one who lit the fire in the first place. Willow's lighter is nice but the ability to see in the dark at least somewhat is also nice. Bernie is the only thing I like about Willow.

Wolfgang's hunger is hard to recover from if Wickerbottom isn't around

Wendy and WX-78 are fine

Wickerbottom feels like cheating since she already is technically a walking science machine, might be just me who feels that way.

Woodie causes you to eat a large portion of the wood you gather so you don't turn into the
werebeaver ( or the Weaver if you will ).

Wes is Wes

Maxwell is... probably fine. I wouldn't know, never played as him.

Wigfrid is a full-on carnivore and meat is not usually a plentiful resource.

Webber I think relies too heavily on Spiders.

Winona tries way too hard to be Wilson with benefits.

Sorry i'm not a wilson main, but i totally respect them. Wilsons are funny.
They are sure better than those pesky wendy or webber mains lmao.

But problem about official wilson skins is his beard is still bugged after all these years. So if you are fire wilson you still have a black beared. Same as winter wilson, no ice beard for him.

But at least this season wilson got the best skin set in the whole game for any char, mad scientist is just golden, even if bug beard ^_^

Besides from benefits winona is simply better than wilson :p
Winona mains are great base builders or team crafters etc :3
Here winona test: Make a normal chest and count the clock how long you will take to put it full with fixing taps or sewing kits.
Then do the same with filling chests with any other character. Yes then you see her true big day server powers :p
Basically once u got a winona on a permanent world you will never need to craft any consumables anywhere near the year 2099. Lmao

I main Wilson too! He's always been my favorite Don't Starve character since I first played the game around 2015. The second I knew they made him a mad scientist skin I fell in love with it lol. I always wanted one for him since I really started playing the character. I like his simplicity but the fact he doesn't make the game too easy in my opinion makes it to where he's well balanced and fun to play as a result. I may just be somebody who isn't really "brave enough" or "good enough" to play other characters. I just like playing Wilson the most!

Wilson main also! similar reasons, I feel like the other characters are too easy or gimmicky for long worlds. Wilson feels pretty balanced with one good but not to OP perk. (also just love the puns)

hello! im also a wilson main and i like him mostly because i like to play the default character who is far from bring op but not that bad but i dont mind playing other characters from time to time but most of my hours are on wilson
