Discord lag

So, im with a problem, when im playing DST, the voices of my discord start lagging, and i dont know why... Any config or something to stop that?

It's probably because you're in a call which takes up lots of bandwidth, while also playing online with people.

It really depends on where your friends are.

Their internet could be a bit slow, causing them to lag out as well. Being in a call just takes up a lot of bandwidth, there's not a lot you can do about it. I suggest restarting your router or preforming flushdns, sometimes even clearing browser cache can work.

Me and my best friend had the same issue, unplayable lag after.... I would say 5 minutes... We did some digging, noticed that discord uses a lot of bandwidth (also a lot of resources in my case) so we decided to switch to Mumble.

Eversince 0.0.7 Discord has been a mess, for us at least so we ditched it completely, I suggest you do the same and give Mumble a try. The sound quality is really good (much better than discord imo) and it takes up very little resources and bandwidth. It's faily easy to setup a server and if you can't or don't want to there are thousands of empty public servers for you to join.
