Pumpkin Lanterns?
Does anyone actually use these things?

I always thought they'd be a cool way to light up a base but it just seems so impractical as far as food consumption and its duration goes.

I mean, maybe once you've got a good food production method going then it becomes more practical, idk, it just seems like a waste.

They are awesome, just put your new generated world int "hallowed nights event". Then when you explore world you will find masses of pumpkin laterns. They are very good early method of light better than torch i think, if you wanna build a base.
But they are also abit annoying to use, many people want to pick up pumpkin laterns from ground and kill them with autoattack instead. So i guess people avoid making these, since you cant destroy normal laterns on "accident". Also some people fid growing pumpkin with farms super tedious. Is all personal opinions. I mean if you are wickerbottom u can grow like 100 pumpkins in few days :3

Build a birdcage and put a bird in it. Once you get a pumpkin, simply feed it to the bird; they'll poop out pumpkin seeds; then you'll have a non-stop super easy source of pumpkins (or any other vegetable/fruit you want). :D

Yeah, I know how to grow alot of pumpkins, but like, it just seems kinda useless to do.
