Eggs an bacon if I'm trying to be cost effective.
-If I want some heals that last longer I mass produce pierogi from cacti+monster meat+ monstermeat turned into eggs+ice.
-Trail mix is also super easy to make and while it heals 30 instead of 40 unlike the other two foods mentioned here, it uses the short eating animation allowing me to get health up in a shorter time.
My go-to healing for most situations would be Pierogies. You can easily make them every season if you make even a small bunnyman farm. You just kill a few of them and turn some of their meat into eggs to make the pierogies. You can of course also turn Monstermeat into eggs to be more efficiant.
Simultaniously, Honeyham and Bacon 'n' Eggs are mainly there to fill hunger while at the same time providing a somewhat smaller amount of hp to make up for small injuries.
Jerky, Bluecaps and Trailmix, I use sparesly. Though, you should keep in mind that Bluecaps and Trailmix are good for bosses, since you can easily get these in masses. Jerky is only really helpful for when I play Wigfrid or when I fight Fuelweaver, though I use it every now and then for when I am in need of both Sanity and HP.
Jellybeans are interesting. I use them mainly for bosses I'm confident with or when I desperately need HP despite my hunger being full already. Only problem I'm faced with is that Beequeen is tedious to fight alone, so I mostly use it when I have a moderately sized group of people with me. Otherwise, it's only a tool for the raid bosses.
Other than that, Healing Salves can be nice if you have a lot of spare spider glands. I wouldn't advice making them when you're playing alone though, as in that case, there's more than enough to heal you up. If you're in a large group though, this may be better than just using them straight up, because the HP gain for the group is bigger this way.
And honestly, shorter eating animations aren't as severe as some make it out to be. You just need to keep an eye out for wether you're free to heal up or not.
This combined with bone armor makes you literally invincible. DST gotten too easy ;-;
Butterfly wings are also great since they are just about everywhere.
If you aren't exactly busy or aren't in the middle of combat, most efficient way imo to regenerate HP is to use a lean-to, so you can save on salves and all that other stuff for when you need it.
create bird cage and put there a bird
feed a bird with dragongruit and u ll get 2 seeds
pland and feed again till u get minimum 10-20 dragonfruis
leave some dragonfruits for feeding a birs other u can cook
Dragonpie: dragon fruit and 3 twigs - it gives you 75 hunger 40 health and 5 sanity
easyest and most powerfull way to rise your stats
even dont need glands, honey or other useless stuff
only thing u need is Bundling Wrap coz food inside them always fresh
Poor boof ;-;
Bundling wraps are useless for food. In the time u manage to get recipe, kill bee queen and craft 1 bundle wrap i already managed to farm 1000 honey. And honey literally never spoils.
Best food as wolfgang
Lmao ur not really efficient. Wraps are only useful on 2000+ worlds.
(8 health and 9.3 hunger btw)
Edit: I believe there is a cap to how many butterflies can be in a certain radius at once, so make sure your 5 flowers are away from any others to get the maximum amount of butterflies spawning
