Chop a bunch of trees until a treeguard spawns after day 3.

Or lead a rook or other mass chopper around the woods until they cause a treeguard to spawn, then kill the treeguard.

lead a boss into a forest (e.g bearger or deerclops) and let it walk over or smash trees. That causes treeguards to spawn and fight it

Bearger and Bich Nut trees. Treeguards from pine trees will kill him way too fast. A ton of poison birchnut trees can be felled with bearger long before he dies.
