Out of grass tufts

Due to many reasons most of which were wildfires i've ran out of grass tufts on my DST world, and tumbleweeds aren't enough to sustain our spike traps, not to mention other grass craftables, is there any way to bring grass back to our world?

If the caves were generated, and you haven't used the grass tufts down there, then there's still hope.

Well, with your current situation, your only hope is to use construction staffs and amulets on something worth a bunch of cut grass, and then once you run out of green gems kill the ancient guardian to get them back. Or spawn them in with console although it is "against the rules".

If those two things aren't "worth it" than you are left with the tumble weed farms, they should get you lots of cut grass and twigs once you locate their spawn area and pen them in though it's a bit time consuming to do that.

Why, you don't have caves?

There is a small ammount of grass in our summer cave base, but i am afraird it will turn into gekkos, once replanted on the surface and we've already had a fire hound spawn inside the enclousure 2 times...

You have to be super careful to keep them alive for more than 500 days

Make a flingomatic and you won't have to worry about wildfires or smolder :)

If you make sure to run away from the enclosures when you hear the warning for hounds, they won't spawn inside them :)

You could always c_give('dug_grass',#) if ya know what i mean (number where the # is).
