Ice Chester or Shadow Chester?

I personally like Ice Chester more because he's good for keeping food good on expeditions. But what do you like more or think is better?

I honestly can't choose, Ice Chester is better in terms of function IMO but he's also far more expensive...

i find shadow chester to be more useful in resource gathering, gather 3 stacks of logs, twigs, grass etc.

for ice chester i find him more suitable for exploration, pack jerkies in your journey to find a bigger rock biome

ice chester because dark chester is just 1 1/3 chests

I'd say dark chester just because of the extra slots. The ice chester does preseve food but it's not like you're gonna go on large expeditions without any nearby food sources in the forest. And since you can't take it to the caves anyway I'd say stick with the extra slots.

True, and even in the caves one can find food sources if they know where to look. Drop all your meat, and you can farm bunnies similarly to how Webber farms spiders, for example. (Just don't pick up any of the meat until the bunnies are back in their huts. You'll regret it.)

i never had chester on public servrs, same as glommer and other uniq stuff

For the long run, I prefer shadow chester, as I typically use the insulted pack once I get my hands on some thick fur. I also play alone, so food going bad is a very real possibility, especially if I go underground for the summer.
