Are marble sculptures meant to spawn all together?
Because I find a Rook sculpture and no other sculptures in my desert.

They are random just keep looking

If the rook spawns with pillars you have to mine the rook to uncover it, if you mine the pillars it reveals the knight and bishop sculptures. All of them need the heads still

i mined them and they were just pawn sculptures

They don't always spawn together. There are different set pieces with marble sculptures, not all have full set.
But you will get at least one of ech sculture per world, scattered between different set pieces.
