Questions about Antlion
First, I wanted to fight the Antlion, but I can't target him with my cursor, even using the force attack keys. Is it required to make the sand goggles first to fight him? Second, I tried to gunpowder the thing, but my gunpowder stack fizzled instead of going bang. Is that because of the sand storm?

You need to feed him a thermal stone before you can fight him.

A really hot or cold thermal stone that is. Also, to the OP, you should still make the desert goggles before fighting him just to make dodging his spikes easier.

I was just planning on football helmet/marble armor/ hambat tank him... bad idea?

Tanking him is viable, but the goggles make it easier to dodge so you save on resources. That, and the goggles are just nice to have for the desert.
