Fact devs made someone who has ability to dodge I think I might actually be a combat update at some point but might Implement critical hits in the ability to dodge for everyone and do not Starve Together

If they do this it would open up the doors for so many new types of bosses that could be harder to fight and require a bit more skill to handle also could help Farm new resources but I know the game supposed to be hard but does it have to be on Fair combat were only few characters can fight

Go combat if they've been with allow things like dodging to all characters,better weapons every Works to some characters could mean a better do not Starve Together combat experience wise

DST is very much focused on fighting. Why do you think people still play public servers? Because they hunt bee queen, fuelweaver, toad and the likes.
Even as newcomer or beginner it gets pretty boring and stale to play day 1 - 20 and randomly die and reset world. Rinse / repeat.

Imagine you cut out combat complete from DST world. What is left? Right nothing than boredom and 49645 grass for nothing grinding.

Klei did well on crafting and build part, but combat is really bad :/
Just tiny forge did improve alot and they still didn't upgrade or implement cooldown weapons.

Yes and no, I indeed didn't tank (I don't do that with any character usually), and most of the time I kill bosses solo. Even with Maxwell. It is possible to solo any boss with any character.

Reason I made this discussion so people can talk on update ideas that can help you get friends into game

Example: I had a friend stop playing in till I kill deerclops because "no official way to advoid damage and think he only get in way"

Tanking is a waste of resources though. And is something that should only be done with low health mobs if you absolutely have to. Your goal should always be to avoid taking damage from the enemy, while continuously dealing damage.
Not really log suit and Helmet easy craft and replace

Did you ever think of mods? I bet there are some fight focussed. But i really doubt the main game gets a complete combat rework. We just have to accept that klei can't design great combat systems. Then you would need other company like capcom or whatever hack&slash or action games there are.

DST will never be a god of war or dark souls lmao :p

Did you ever think of mods? I bet there are some fight focussed. But i really doubt the main game gets a complete combat rework. We just have to accept that klei can't design great combat systems. Then you would need other company like capcom or whatever hack&slash or action games there are.

Try say add mods but isn't a good balanced dodging mod

Not say over Hall update need just 1 or 2 things really help expand possibilities of things devs can do

Keep in mind all bosses made to be able be beat by useing speed buffs and a hambat/darksword (-fuelWeaver who was build to require prep days in advance)
