op is to lazy to do actually fact checks
1: for security reasons to play online any online game needs a account to work online
2: to help you or punish you if something goes wrong or you do something wrong
3: they just take you're email.
4: if the site gets hacked its just you're email they have nothing else
5: you're email adress is the most worthless thing anybody can get as their email gets thrown in the spam bin. and who checks THAT!
paladins for example requires a account thats differant from you're steam
its a similair situation with don't starve togheter expect its merged so why my wording is indeed more false my claim wasn't entirly
also the rest of the points still stand
the games use their own accounts instead of steam ones for comaptibility (or laziness because they don't want to port steam accounts to work with their stuff)
i play deep rock online daily and i don't have to create ANOTHER account for it...
