P.S the better "expansion pack" part might change in the future, when Don't starve Together will also recieve major content update, in the form of new mobs and biones.
Yes, but the only "content expansion" DST has is Reign of Giants. which in my honest opinion should be part of the base DS game too. I was referring to expansions as in the veins of Hamlet or Shipwracked.

That too, but still doesn't change the fact that in my opinion the original game has way more interesting "expansions" then DST :)
in the end its a simple choice. buy DS if you perfer single player and DST if you perfer multiplayer. they both have tons of content and if you get good enough at one of them and like the game then buy the other
