Don't Starve Together

how likely is it that the lunar island will be screwed
Alrighty so I generated a new world because I was checking something about the lunar islands, well in one of those worlds the lunar island spawned touching the main land And its mini islands generated across the map very close to the land.

Well these are caused by "Land Loop" and "Land Branch" at World Settings.

If you don't change those setttings, it's completely random, and depens on your luck what kind of map you are going to get.

There is however three or four mini [Lunar] Islands always in partitions, near the major [Lunar] Island. I'm not sure if that's an intentional design or a bug. (Or maybe it's random too.)

Generally speaking, I see weird and connected Lunar islands once in every 10 maps. So the chances are high for some reason.

I don't think the lunar islands are bugged/have issues if they generate so close.

I have had the same issue: the island is directly connected to the mainland. A few moon things (spiders and plants) are on the main island but other than that I don't think I'm missing any content.

Its a cool world gen and I would suggest keeping it as you don't need to deal with boating.
