How does Wormwood consume Manure?

After the announcement of Wormwood's arrival, the part that says about fertilizing itself with Manure/ Bucket-o-poop/ Guano; We know that these are simply poop!

So, how much does it feel weird to consume that (Or see other players do) while playing as Wormwood? I remember seeing a video somewhere that this character does that.

I just hope the way it uses Manure to fertilize itself will not be obnoxious, and will be way more different than what I saw; when it arrives at DST. (For example, using it with gathering animation.)

That's a good point actually; since this is a real time multiplayer game, it's better if animations are faster.

When using most fertilizer his body is changed for .5 seconds as he rubs himself, his compost wrap is much longer and draws attention to it, but if you wear chest armor all you can see really is the hand movement(basically your gathering suggestion).

Wormwood playing the eating animation for poop(and the filled cheeks slower eating for compost) would be actually disgusting for pretty much everyone, so be glad for what we have.
Just let that sink in...

The rot is created when the food you have is spoiled! it's just a spoiled/ old food. No big deal IMO.

P.S. It's not about making sense/ being realistic, it's about not pushing some limits when role playing. For example, I personally do avoid games with gory content.

Is it really a big deal? You almost have to go out of your way to be disgusted by the animation for this. It looks more like he’s rubbing dirt on himself than anything.
That and there are worse things already in DS. Exploding whales, enormous piles of poop falling from the sky, the horror hound spawning, monkeys throwing poop, ewecus shooting snot, the tall bird egg laying animation, the slurper sucking food out of your stomach, and I’m sure a couple more things. A plant man rubbing manure on itself seems to be on about the same level if not less than some of the things already in the game.

Don't forget Catcoon coughing up hairballs (Wet Goop), which you can pick off the ground and eat.

Yeah, those are also kind of disgusting. But the level of it for any case differs from individual to another. Personally, this one bothers me more.

No offense but you’ll just have to lighten up. If things like exploding whales and inside out hounds are in the game then I doubt a 2 second animation of a plant man rubbing poop on itself will ever get changed.

I am not going to defend anyone in here but let's respect each others opinions.
Some people find some stuff disgusting,and others do mind something else.

As I said already in a different discussion,if majority of the community is not against something then it most likely won't get changed from Klei.

So the thing about Wormwood what OP dislikes won't get changed (most likely) anyway.
