DON'T STARVE ROLEPLAY! (ROLEPLAYERS NEEDED!!!!)

I need roleplayers who are highly active, and willing to roleplay when everyone else is ready. When you decide who you'll be, try to stay true to that's character's nature or accent, etc. Sometimes it's hard and I understand that, but try.

Maxwell (Age unknown (most likely centuries of immortality as Shadow King)/TAKEN by Kittyxsweets)

Webber (10/OPEN)
Winona (39/OPEN)
Wortox (14/TAKEN by DawnTDS (me). Starts uncorrupted.)
Wormwood (4 (4 years of existing, but Wormwood's mental age is 7, and you can't really tell any of this because Wormwood is a plant)/TAKEN by Old Pete)


To join, say which character you'd like to be, and add a roleplay example using said character. We will begin the roleplay when there are 5 other people, but you can continue to join after that!

What is a roleplay example:
A roleplay example is an example of how you roleplay. For example, my roleplay example would be like this:

"Hello, hello, hello dear friends! Hyuyu!" Wortox said cheerfully as he walked over to the others at the base.

and that way I can see if you have the skill level for roleplaying. It doesn't have to be perfect, but I'd like it to be better than 'no!!!!!! u get away form them spider!' *crys*' if you understand what I mean.

i tried for like an hour or more i dont even know to try and figure it out but nOPERONI it didnt work out so warly's removed from the list and there's no mods and stuff now.

We would like to point out that you haven't included the following important things: do you have a dedicated server to make this happen, I assume you have, so my question is, where is it located, we don't want lags, we can't fight filthy pigs with lags. The second question is how will we talk? Discord, teamspeak, mumble, or it is not important to have any of these , and we can just use the game chat? And another one, which mods do you wanna use besides the one you mentioned? If our questions get answered , we will consider joining, but we are very busy during the day, we could only join at the evening (GMT+2), for a few hours, so we would probably join later,after you started the world. Oh, and if you don't know which character I will take by the time you read this, we're very disappointed.

there would be 4 mods (including the Warly mod), one that allows extra equip spots for amulet and backpack, another for long pig (i feel like thats a realistic touch), and one for the furniture megapack mod because it'd be nice to have a chair or something ;/

also i see you'd like to go webber, but if you are okay with these mods and still want in, i'd like a roleplay example.


Smurfy (and Kyflie you asked this too): the chat will just be in game, no discord or skype or anything needed

also it'll be at any time so long as there are 3-4 people or more at once (even if i'm not there) since it'll be a dedicated server. it's just when the roleplay begins that i'd like to have more people to begin it (also the server is in Florida, US, so that also means my timezone is EST)

also Smurfy, if you want in still with this information, I will give you the yes as Willow, just send the friend request and i'll know you've accepted the role ^_^

Well, if my original post wasn't a roleplay example, I don't know what is, so I guess I'm not interested..... ? I mean I've seen what others gave as roleplay examples, but I don't think that's gonna be viable during the game, but anyways, have fun. :)

I'm so old, I remember the days when role play was just what you did because we were all on analog chatrooms.

Hope you get a nice group together. I've never actually ran across anyone who role played here seriously.

Kyflie, i figured using the 'we' to show you'd be webber was dropping hints about who u wanted to be, not that that was the roleplay example. I assumed you'd do something like

``We love our spider friends!`` Webber said happily as he pet a spider.
