Where do you get Beeswax?

Kinda curious, where do you get beeswax? Bees? Beehives? Beequeen or something inbetween, thanks in advance

Beeswax is the item that was added to the beta yesterday. That said, you get beeswax from crafting a honeycomb into it.

Aha, so they're not farmable. Do they get discarded once you open them? I am not exactly sure how they work yet

If you're talking about the package bundles, you get the wax paper back when it's opened. All you gotta do is remake the rope.
