What happens when you ensemble a set?

I know you get a reward out of it but what happens to the set itself? does it vanish?

All the clothing and heads that you recieve: in a Forge Chest/purchase with spools/buy with real money at the in game shop, are yours to keep forever and will be wearable in the regular game even after the event ends :)

Okay so if i ensemble a forge set then it won't vanish and i'd still get the fist shake emote?

Right, any heads/hands/top/pants/shoes whether a full set or not, are yours to keep forever.
Same goes for any of the emotes you get :)

*unless you unravel any of them for spools, then they're gone (unless you have duplicates and make sure to still leave one).

Joshua could you confirm that ensemble don't steal items once you do it?

Nothing happens to your items. You just unlock the emote, your items stay in your inventory

I don't have enough items to complete any sets. Heads are either quite rare or are exclusive to weaving.

They will only vanish if you click on unravel. So careful ^^
Ensemble is all good and gives just bonus content for collectors.

edit: I can confirm ensemble, i just got the fist shake emoticon and still kept my wilson set.

Sort of on topic- Do you have to weave the skin? I have all the armor but can't figure out how to assemble it. I'm hoping I don't have to waste all my spools to weave the gladiator...

Think of it as the sleepy emote ensemble you'll keep it aslong as you have the set

Someone already mentioned that the heads and such has dropped for them, even though it didn't drop for me.. yet.
