I honestly don't understand your question; using two armours decreases the damage you take vs wearing only one. Unless you have an overly abundant supply of healing items and can't make the armor, there's no reason not to.
If you find yourself running out of armor, bring more. But it doesn't make you invincible, strategy is what wins battles in DS.
when you wear 2 armors the dmg taken is divided between the 2 so they last longer than using one but you should kite too, unless you wanna bring A LOT of armor
I kite enemies pretty well, its just the armour part because my armours soon depleted.
My question mainly is, more or less; When fighting Bosses, better to wear 2 peices of armour or just 1 and save the other once the first armour is dead? (While kiting, not tanking)
EDIT:
Noticed that DST Armour is only absorbed by the highest % Resistance. So I suppose its rather better to just wear 1 armour at a time when fighting enemies/bosses?
edit after 1 minute:
but getting pig skins can be a problem so if you are playing as wx just make tons of wooden armor
this is easier to make wood armor than helmet and it blocks the same damage
can someone tell if armor and helmet blocks the same?
shouldn't be very big problem if you kite with 0 lags
(see comment highlight)
Just putting this old armor guide here for any new players that might stumble to this thread. Using 1 armor one by one instead of 2 may be better in DST than in DS.
