Don't Starve Together

Single player
I wanna play DST as a single player game (by setting server to private) because it seems that this version has a lot more features than the single player version.
Is it Easier or harder to play this game alone?
Is it worth playing alone or should you really be playing single player version?

Depends on if you got the dlc for the singleplayer version. Without dlc the singleplayer version sucks. With dlc it's better than this.

If you get the health scaler mod then DST will basically be just like the base game when you play alone. Without the mod then you could have a lot of trouble especially with certain bosses.

Yes, DST is harder to play alone than Don't Starve. Most enemies have double health, and some have considerably more. Newer Bosses also use fighting tactics that are designed around having multiple people to defeat (though it's not impossible to solo if you're willing to get creative).

I'd recommend getting "Automatic Health Adjust" from the workshop. This'll bring enemy HP levels down to the values from the original (where applicable). DST exclusive mobs also have their values reduced but there's no reference for those so the mod author has used their best judgement (and given additional settings in the configuration).

If I am correct, there are no mods for DST. Unless there is compatibility with Don't Starve mods, there are no mods.
I like banannas. Doesn't matter tho cause no one reads these.

Chizzler, does only the host have to have that mod, or the players too?

not true. nearly all mods work. i know this because i use like 100 mods andi didnt even check if they are compatible because they nearly always are. so you know nothing and still give bad advice. u should stop helping people until you checked something urself
