How to get more gears?
How can i get more gears? ive been playing alot of DST now a days, ive survived +280 days, but i want to start making another base just for fun, now my main problem is i cant find more gears i know i can get them from the tumbleweed, ive killed all the clockworks i found in all the map and i dont have caves on my save game, is there any chance to get more, can i acces to the ruins?

If there are no caves in your map, gears are kind of limited. There is a 1% chance of finding one in a tumbleweed, and you can get geras in graves. But im pretty sure there is no other way to get gears sadly.

Experience. Once you've made it through year 1, survival is trivial. Everything you worked towards in Year 1 was against the clock... In Year 2+, you've already got everything you need... You're just making life more comfortable, and working on getting fail-safes (such as Meat Effigys)

how do you survive those so many days....
After the first year things actually get easier if you prepared well. The giants also help a ton with survival, especially the eyebrella which makes spring and summer much easier.

I think its a little higher then 1%. I think its more like 3%
