Tentacles
Are they unlimited in the swamp areas or will they eventually die and make the zone "safe"?

They will not eventually die. But after a few years of chasing deerclops (for example) through them or clearing them out, they will be gone. They don't respawn.

The book.. On Tentacles? She can spawn new ones if you would need that if your swamp runs out I guess.

nope wont work, you need 1 tentacles spot per book and each book has 5 uses. The chances of a tentacle spot droping is 20%. Aaaaaaand I just realized that the book spawns 3 tentacles per use so nvrm.

Im pretty sure the tentacles actually respawn( about 75% sure). Even if you bring 4 deerclops to a swamp and are on day 1000, there are still tentacles around.

I play on long term servers and i NEVER run out of tentacles and i play classic DST.
So idk how people can even manage that?

Nope, they can not respawn as stated on the tentacle info on the wiki "Even though Tentacles do not respawn, the player can still get the loot normal Tentacles drop via Big Tentacles. Therefore, if one is using a Tentacle as a food and item supplier, this could prove a problem when the Tentacles near Rundown Houses or Spider Dens inevitably become extinct."
