I have a question about this game
In order to have fun playing it, do you have to have like a lot of free time?, because every time I get in a server, I play for a bit like 30 minutes then I start to think. . . What if I exit now or later, and come back?, will the server still be ON?, will I die as time passes?, Do I have to play this game from morning to night to be able to have fun?.

How is your mentality with this game when playing it?, because I feel really off when noticing everyone has a house and they are at day 17 of winter, and I feel off when not knowing how to even craft a house, I'm a noob, I'm just learning, but if I quit I think my partners are going to have a rough time, what if they quit and shut down the server?

Well that could be the case for some servers but most servers will be up if it's a dedicated server

If your joining random servers, then yeah, after you leave the server will continue without you... it might still be up when your ready to play again, but things will have changed in your absence. If it's "Survival Mode" there's a chance the world will be gone when you return...Alternatively the server might be offline if the host is offline (or dedicated server turned off).

DST is best played with friends when you're all available to play together, and when that isn't the case, the server is turned off. This means you progress at a pace that's suitable to your group, and nobody is coming back to find all their food rotten or the world vastly altered.

I have 2 servers. 1 is there for when me and friends are all online playing together, and the other is just for me, there to provide me with a DST fix when my group is busy.

I played a lot of the standalone before I even tried DST, I didnt want to look dumb playing DST, lol, but my point is if you have the standalone you can play that and learn or just create a server of your own and password protect it in DST, then learn the game that way. however I believe that most of the enemies health bars are much higher in DST than the standalone dont starve ROG

Why would you play on a random server unless you want to play pvp? If you want to play a coop game, pm your friends and set up a server of your own.
