Maxwell: Are shadow Duelists worth it?

idk if 1 miner, 1 logger, and 1 duelist, or 2 miners, and 2 loggers is better? is the duelist worth it?

they wont kill off any bosses or anything strong.
Early they can farm u some spiders or let you fish in peace while the shadows kill the frogs.
Later their basically a distraction to the mobs while u kite them. The shadows wont kill sh1t for u.

I am no pro at kiting but with 2 shadows out, a spear and wooden armor i can take on a herd of beefalo of about 4 . The shadows will never kill any of them but they distract them.

+SwiftXShadow, So is it worth getting 1 miner, 1 logger, and 1 duelist? or should i scrap them all together and just go for 2 logger and 2 miner, normally i fight solo becuase i play with randoms, a distraction would be nice to aid me, and i already expected they would he ♥♥♥♥ at fighting bosses (Thats what pigs/bunnymen are for.) and thanks for the detailed post.

Honestly the logger is the most useful ♥♥♥♥. If you get 4 you can clear a forest just as fast as bearger

U get whatever u currently need. If you are going to go fight stuff u get duelists, if u need wood you logger, there is no point to have a set amount.

Well, nightmare fuel isnt cheap

Yeah thats the thing i dont have a lot of nightmare fuel so until i have chestfulls i would rather go for a jack of all trade (or do the most stuff effiecently, and effectivly) with my puppets then change them when i feel like doing something else, hense why i kinda have 1 of everything.

The problem is already solved by this method: Whenever you need more shadow fuel and you dont need a logger currently simply kill it ! Every Maxwell killed shadow gives 1 fuel back (50% better than nothing )!

And later just make a shadow amulett and you can farm fuels for ages :p
