How to permanently remove grass?

In our base, the grass keeps on spawning even if we already removed it (using shovel) we layered it with carpets and still its spawning, is there any way to remove it permanently or any mods that does the work?

ok, I am assuming you have the world gen mod activated. And in that case, No. Just disable the mod. There is no reason to have it anymore

Only the grass and sticks spawn back. Which really suck. I wish there were a way to remove them permintly

mods always make problems. i never use mods.

Mods dont always make probloms. The only server mod I like using is the Show Me mod.
