Can anyone remember when this was flash game?

Can anyone remember when this was just a flash game online or am I loosing my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind.

I have faint memories of playing this game or a smimilar game a long time ago before the offical game was ever in devlopment. I never played the beta for the base single player game, but I feel like I've played this game before. I just need some confirmination. I could very well just be going insane.

I remember like some guys in my class were playing it on the computer so I asked what it was and I can't recall if it was actually called Don't Starve back then but nevertheless I started playing it too for a bit, but then forgot about it.

I'm loosing my mind, aren't I?

well it was sold on google store long before hitting steam, it was a single player only and had only two seasons, winter and autumn. btw its no longer sold on google store anymore so

No you didn't have to pay for it, it was free and hosted on flash sites like newgrounds and stuff. It was a really long time ago but like I swear I played it when it was just a flash game, like really early test as a flash game, and i think it was because of the flash game that klei was started/picked the game up. (although im p sure ds is also their first game and it caused klei to be born as an indie dev.)

but again, im also convinced im loosing my mind.

I think OP you going insane or you might confuse it with the other million life survival game. But i kinda forgot it's name. You evolve from baby to adulthood. I mean that game totally looked like flash. Anyway why would it even matter if DS was flash or not flash? DST is superior in every way so what gives?

Or do you mean binding of isaac? BOI started as flash game and got very unstable and bloated and gotten reborn with pixel style as Rebirth edition on multiplatform.

Maybe you confuse "the last night" . The last night started as a competition in a gamejam session as a free game on the internet and now it gets developed into a full fledged triple AAA title for next gen. But that might also be offtopic.

yeah, i thought that it was a browser game pretty early on so i went to check and found a vid of someone playing it on chrome (apparently before sanity was even added)
