Getting stuff without naughtiness?

So I figured out how to get pig skins by placing houses next to a pond to have them fight frogs, or placing a spider eggs by the houses. Having them fight eachother shouldn't earn me naughtiness should it?
Ok, so what about birds and feathers? My idea was to set a bird trap and then place a hay wall next to it, so it catches on fire, but that also burns the stuff the bird drops when dying. How do I kill birds without getting naughtiness? This kinda goes for rabbits too I guess. I have yet to find a way to kill them without accumulating naughtiness.

Are there any enemies that would harm birds in that brief stage when they're on the ground from the inventory before getting up?

If you're willing to just wait you could let them starve to death.

put the birds and rabbits in a chest and they will die and you wont accumulate naughtiness. you can put toothtraps around the pigmen as well and have them run into it.

why care so much about naughtiness, make a bunch of traps from base, kill enough and when klampus comes let them hit the traps.. :)

Hounds don't always drop teeth so you can't be certain you'll have enough traps.

you have so many ways to deal with them, and birds have 2 naughtyness so you need to kill around 15 / 20 to get klampus to spawn killing 5 and then a few days nothing its good, you hear a sound when your getting close to them spawned

im wondering the best way on how to any walrus tusks? In all the times i've played, I've never been able to get my hands on even ONE! Any ideas?

CatCoons will also stalk and kill birds. You can follow one around like I did

Make a wall around the walrus hut, like an U then place 4 pig houses, they will do the job for you.. come back every 3 days till you get it
