There are mods that let you make the max player about higher but you should only do this if you have a good computor and good connection.

You dont need mods for more max players lol, actually the max players are near limitless, if you got a fat server rig and a dedicated server.
But for not dedicated servers or bad laptops something like 4-6 players max is recommended!
If you host a dedicated server simply change the max players in the config files!

lol thats only for dedicated server m8, if you want to host you need to have the mod if you want to have more then 6 players

Great but I dont want to quit playing the game for a little and then come in at a season. Hosting games is better if you have a small group.

Yes thats right, but your answer was partly wrong. There are alot of options and different setups and nobody can say DST only allows X amounth of players. Thats simply not true i think :p

DST is a very flexible server structure and can be tailored to every players or community needs.
