Ruins?

I'm making a new server for some friends but would like to get to the ruins as soon as possible. I was playing around in world gen and noticed that there were no options to increase ruin entrances in the caves, but I did see that I could edit how many loops and branches the gave generates with. Is there a specific layout that would make finding the ruins easier?

I'm not sure if messing with land branch/loop will help with reaching the ruins or not, but I can give you some general tips. In DST, the caves and ruins are combined into one level, so you just have to walk from the cave entrances to the ruins. Specifically, you can find the ruins by first finding the orange turf biome with lots of light flowers, then explore that until you find lichen and eel ponds, then you should find the start of the ruins nearby.

Thank you! My brother and I were searching for over an hour looking for a plugged sink hole or any entrance to the ruins with no luck. This is really helpful
