Cannot log in
I am trying to log in, I reset my password for hero engine. but even after resetting my pw and doing a verify cache, I still get unable to login. Please check user name and password and connection settings??

Hey Calabris, sorry to hear you're having issues logging in. Can you share a screenshot or give a description of where exactly you see that error? Also, when you said you reset your HeroEngine password, where did you do it?

Sounds like the issue I had. I had a Steam code, and is launching the game from Steam, but I still had to logon to the Hero Engine website, https://www.heroenginegames.com/account/ , and redeem the key there to. In the "My Games" tab, it has to show the game, if it doesn't, you will not be able to log on.
The whole way to get access to the game is reaaally messy, hopefully it will be fully integrated with Steam when launched.

No I was an early backer of the game, so I got the key that way.

Go to the Repopulation website and create a support ticket there.

I tried logging-in for the first time (since 2015) yesterday, and had some issues. Created a support ticket and within 3 hours (on a Saturday afternoon !), my problems were solved.

Kudos to the IF support people for an excellent response time ! :steamhappy:

♥♥♥♥ game come back and then cant play because i must loginto hero engine site ?? like in the past i did it i was a baker , but i dont want make it ... i want play and have not much time , to wast with some fs registr.....

The Repopulation is and always has been tied to the Hero Engine website. The log in information that you use there is your log in for the game. You only ever have to register there once and link your key. After that you can simply log in straight from the Steam launcher.

The Repopulation is and always has been tied to the Hero Engine website. The log in information that you use there is your log in for the game. You only ever have to register there once and link your key. After that you can simply log in straight from the Steam launcher.


no i cant ! the hero engine acc is ok i use the login data but i cant login username and pssw ...

I reset my password in hero engine. After about 30 min I was able to log into the game. But thank you

Do you have a working login for the HeroEngineGame site, here : https://www.heroenginegames.com/account/, yes or no?

Btw it's fairly common to have a separate (outside of Steam) login for an MMO.

Just do what i did give up on logging in i try everything possible resting password. Resubmitting my CD key. Even sent a support ticket and the reply i recived from them was the follwoin g.

"The servers are up and running. Please post a support ticket at the Repopulation site here: https://therepopulation.com/support/help-desk/submit-ticket"

So it clear if you can't log into the game you aren't going to beable to log into ever for the time being idk maybe it will change but as of now only a select few lucky people have accuess to the game. Even though people that had accuess and bought the game before shut down not all do now.

There were several hundreds of players that were able to login this week, so hmm... did you open that support ticket?

maybe this is your issue

"Backer Portal still hasn't been fully transitioned from ABT to us, this means that we cannot verify 100% of the accounts and backer status, we are working as hard as possible to make sure everyone who has purchased the game has access, but some people have been put on hold and this is the reason. We want to make sure all supporters have access to the game before opening the gates.

It was given to me by Support on the weekend.

Clicking "Reset Password" on the main game login screen takes you to https://account.heroengine.com/home, but that site showed no record of me owning Repop, the link above had everything.

It's great that a single PW gives you access to all IF portals, but it's not so great that the portals seem to contain unrelated info. Very confusing.

Btw, Repop is still showing ABT as the developers on the front page of the Heroenginegames site. Get it together, folks !
